It is recognized by former Nature Conservancy prairie specialist Jim Eidson, Dr. Ken Steigman, Botanical Research Institute of Texas botanists, and many other experts. The history of the area and the work with Dallas Park & Recreation Dept. for the last 20 years for different managements will be covered, plus how it was recognized for the Texas land Steward Award.
