TeamingWIthWildlife2Teaming With Wildlife: True To Texas is the state chapter of Teaming with Wildlife, a national coalition of businesses and organizations committed to restoring and conserving our native wildlife. The goal of Teaming with Wildlife is to find sustainable funding to support wildlife conservation and management efforts.

Recently, significant developments have created the potential to secure $100 million annually to fund state-based conservation efforts. The Texas House passed with HB 158 last year, finally gave Texas natural resources its long overdue funding.  Come and find out how you can help participate in one of the biggest “wins” in conservation history!

Sam KieschnickThe evening’s presenter, Sam Kieschnick, urban biologist for Texas Parks & Wildlife serving the east side of the DFW metroplex, will focus on the three A’s: Awareness, Appreciation and Action. Both chapters have hosted popular talks by Kieschnick who’s been in the national news lately for his iNaturalist work. Kieschnick previously worked as a nature educator with the City of Mansfield at Oliver Nature Park, as a naturalist at the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge, and as a science interpreter with the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.
