Spring Calendar for Blackland chapter of NPAT

Work morning at White Rock Lake, Dallas

(replaces February monthly meeting)
TO BE RESCHEDULED DUE TO weather — Saturday, February 17, 9 to 10:30 am

Boy Scout Hill, southwest corner of Mockingbird and Buckner
Access from eastbound Mockingbird, turn on East Lawther, take first left in parking lot. Or take East Lawther exit from westbound Mockingbird, turn left on East Lawther, go to stop sign, take left to top of hill and a right into the parking lot.

Due to its location at the corner of two large thoroughfares, Boy Scout Hill is possibly the most visible Blackland Prairie remnant in Dallas. Let’s help it looks the best it can. Identify spring growth, clean up trash as needed, start pulling Queen Anne’s lace.

This workday is approved for North Texas Master Naturalist Hours.
